The breakfast was wonderful with a great selection of meals. The room was extremely spacious and had a laptop safe, a mini bar, and central heating.- This hotel is incredibly beautiful and perfect, with a central location close to public transport.

The staff were extremely helpful, suggesting and directing to specific places based upon my general desires. The facility is first rate and comfortable, and I felt completely at home. I thoroughly enjoyed my time and truly relaxed.

The rooms are clean. Functionally furnished. The staff is nice and friendly. Breakfast is good: bread, cheese, sausage or bacon, eggs, fruits, muesli. . The location of the hotel is good: in the middle of the old town. All central places of interest within walking distance. . It is on a hill, so the way "home" can get a bit out of breath. . For a short trip to the city, the hotel is absolutely sufficient and good.
the lighting in the bathroom could be better. Exchange of towels does not always work. . No breakfast buffet, therefore long waiting times until the food is there. After serving, the staff disappears, making it more difficult to find new supplies. I did not understand why the coffee capsules for the coffee machine could only be learned from tourist to tourist and not from the staff. The capsules are in a "box" at the front of the reception. Tea water is also brought exclusively from the kitchen.. A sparkling wine is almost "offered" for breakfast: not a freshly opened bottle, but one from who knows when (last week?) A new one is only made when the really last drop from the previous bottle has really been drunk. Embarrassing.. The hotel is getting old.

We absolutely loved our stay at this boutique hotel! the staff, particularly Anton and Marcio, were incredibly helpful and made us feel right at home. As vegetarians, we were delighted to find a delicious made-to-order breakfast with plenty of options for us. the free afternoon tea was a simple yet welcome gesture, giving us a chance to relax after a day of sightseeing. the hotel's location was excellent, just a short walk away from the town center.
Felt like family, no complaints.

The staff were very helpful, gave us a room upgrade. Great views over the city, yet the hotel was tucked away in a pleasant quiet corner of the city.

internet does't work in the rooms, poor breakfast, long distance to walk, bad choice

Amazingly helpful and cheerful staff. Small boutique hotel with spacious rooms, wonderful breakfast and free internet that worked!
Good location for our city break - don't be put off by the surrounding area.

The hotel is situated in a convenient location, with easy access to Rossio square and the metro. if you find walking a challenge, you might struggle with the hill leading up to the hotel. the room and bathroom were clean, but the furniture could use an upgrade. the staff were helpful and friendly, and the breakfast had a good variety. If you're lucky enough to get a room with a view, it's amazing.

Hotel very close to city centre (small walk up and down hill but not difficult) and very quiet. Good breakfast options, and staff very friendly and helpful. We had booked a double room and not sure if upgraded, but our room was very big with lounge area.
Nothing, was very good for price, as Lisbon hotels in general seemed to be quite pricey.

The Hotel Principe Real is a small hotel, so the level of service from the hotel staff is very important, and in this matter I have to say that the hotel staff is among the best staff I met.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
